Let’s start here.
As of 2017, we have reached roughly 90% of the population, age 25 and older, having graduated high school. The highest percentage on record.
Most people do enroll in college, but most do not complete a degree.
A little over a third of the population holds a bachelor's degree.
The number for graduate degrees drops into the low teens.
